About Serita Lacasse, LCSW
Serita Lacasse is a highly experienced nonprofit leader and social worker with over 20 years of dedicated service in the nonprofit sector. As the founder and executive director of a successful nonprofit organization, Serita transformed a small initiative, starting with just five clients and offering ten rides per week, into a thriving entity that now serves over 1,400 clients and facilitates an impressive 14,000 rides annually. This remarkable growth is a testament to her strategic vision, unwavering commitment, and expertise in nonprofit management.
Throughout her career, Serita has navigated the multifaceted challenges of running a nonprofit organization. She was responsible for every aspect of the organization, from grant writing and securing funding to planning strategic meetings, hiring and training staff, and ensuring adherence to fiscal budgets. The demands of these responsibilities were substantial, leaving her feeling exhausted and often wishing for a "magic wand" to simplify the process and bring everything together seamlessly.
Upon retiring from her nonprofit leadership role, Serita recognized a profound need in the sector for ongoing support and resources for nonprofits. Inspired by her experiences and motivated to help others avoid the pitfalls she encountered, she founded Lacasse Consulting Solutions. Through her consulting firm, she aims to be that "magic wand" for nonprofits, providing essential services such as grant writing, board development, and strategic planning.
